The Requirement
This web site forms a part of a large project which includes four marketing web sites and four e-commerce web sites.
This site provides the marketing presence for the wholesale division and includes a Business to Business e-commerce site.
The particular requirements were for each e-commerce solution to draw its data from one of two possible accounts files.

This entailed the use of an intermediate database which allowed selection of correct catalogue and the addition of considerable supplementary information.

Last but not least was a requirement, where appropriate for on line credit card authorisation and integration of web site orders back into the Sales Order Processing system.
